Returns & Refunds Policy – The Jewellery Effect
1. General Policy
- No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
- We only permit exchanges in accordance with the terms set out below.
- Shipping costs: R200.00
- Free shipping on orders over R1,000.00
2. Exclusions
The following items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable:
- Products purchased on sale or promotion
- Sunglasses
- Any item marked as “Final Sale”
3. Defective or Incorrect Products
- Every product is carefully inspected before dispatch.
- If you receive a defective or incorrect item, you must notify us within 3 (three) days of delivery.
- Once confirmed, The Jewellery Effect will arrange the collection and replacement of the item at no additional cost to you.
4. Exchanges Due to Customer Error
- If you select the wrong product, size, or design, you may request an exchange.
- In such cases, you will be fully responsible for all shipping costs (both the return and reshipment).
- To avoid issues, we recommend contacting us before purchasing if you require additional product details or photos.
5. Conditions for Acceptance of Returns/Exchanges
We will not accept any product for exchange if:
- The item has been worn, damaged, or altered
- The item is not in its original packaging
- The return request is made after the 3-day notification period
